Understanding Our Terms

By booking a training service or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms are designed to ensure clarity, safety, and professionalism in how we work with you and your dog.
Booking and Payment

All training sessions must be booked in advance.

Payment is due in full before or at the time of your first session, unless otherwise agreed.

If payment is not received on time, sessions may be delayed or cancelled.
Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds

Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance will not incur a fee.

Cancellations made within 24 hours may be charged in full.

Missed appointments without notice (no-shows) are non-refundable.

Refunds for cancelled or missed sessions are at our discretion, based on reasonable circumstances.

If Alfie and Co. needs to reschedule (due to illness, weather, etc.), we’ll offer an alternative session.
Client Responsibilities
To ensure a safe and effective session, clients must:

Ensure their dog is up to date with vaccinations (unless otherwise agreed).

Inform us of any behavioural issues (including aggression, reactivity, or fear-based behaviours) before the first session.

Notify us if their female dog is in season.
-
Keep dogs on lead unless instructed otherwise.

Supervise any children attending sessions.
-
Arrive on time. Sessions cannot be extended for late arrivals.

Results Disclaimer
Every dog is an individual. While we will guide and support your training, success depends on your ongoing practice, consistency, and relationship with your dog. Therefore, no guarantees are made about specific results or timelines.
Risk and Liability
Participation in dog training carries inherent risks. By attending any session, you acknowledge and accept:

Responsibility for your own safety, your dog’s behaviour, and any damage your dog may cause.

That Alfie and Co. is not liable for any injury, illness, damage, or loss arising from training sessions, including those involving third parties or occurring in public spaces.

That you should have appropriate insurance coverage for your dog.
Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, or service interruptions caused by events beyond our control (e.g. illness, natural disasters, public health emergencies, travel disruptions, etc.).
Use of Photos and Media
Photos or videos may be taken during sessions and used for social media or promotional purposes. If you prefer not to be included, please let us know in writing before your session.
Intellectual Property
All training materials, handouts, content, and resources provided by Alfie and Co. are for your personal use only and may not be copied, redistributed, or used for commercial purposes without written permission.
